I have learned from Ms. Cynthia for several years. I didn’t expect that I would learn from her for that long. Her way of teaching is interactive and individual. She is good at finding both the students’ needs and strengths. As an ESL teacher, not only does she provide educational resources to improve their English, but also with information about good opportunities to learn English in the real world, like local events or activities that everyone could join and enjoy. and enthusiastic. She planned and conducted field trips regularly. We enjoyed mingling with
other students outside of the classroom and learning things that enrich our lives. I have lots of fun memories—nature hikes at a local trail and clean-up walks around the school neighborhood. I also liked the art activities in her classroom. Art is one of her specialties. We enjoyed drawing or crafting, and the conversation with the classmates.
Going out and meeting people is the ideal and efficient way to learn languages. Not only do I
learn English from her, but also how to enjoy life here. I gradually felt like I could be part of the community and that motivated me to keep learning English. The more outgoing I became, the more confident I could become. The suggestions or information that she gave me are always helpful and have worked well to improve my English.
